Normally drivers speed because you believe that you can get away with it or you feel that your driving skill allows you to challenge the speed limit. On time delivery for a courier is a must and although speeding may be a common practice, you should take steps to avoid speeding to be on time.

Traffic violations are common in society and for the most part people pay them and continue on with their routine. However, for an independent contractor, traffic violations take on different Text Box: meaning. Once you receive four violations within a three year time period you are no longer qualified to be an independent contractor for ECI. 
ECI conducts MVR reviews on an annual basis as part of the insurance renewal process. Excessive traffic violators are viewed as risk that can drive up everyone’s insurance cost and Text Box: Every independent contractor had to either provide a current MVR or sign a release authorizing Express Courier to run an MVR on their behalf. You were contracted, so obviously you met the initial driving qualifications.

If you are given the option of paying the fine or attending traffic school. Opt for the  school. Attending the school can help keep the violation off your record.
Get an updated copy of your MVR so that you can stay abreast of your status.
